Following the release of two very successful albums, Views & The Life of Pablo, it seems there could be a collaboration ahead from Drake and Kanye West.
At OVO Fest last night, following a number of surprises including an unexpected performance between Drake & Rihanna, Kanye joined the 6 God himself on stage to ask “Is y’all ready for this album?” He then clarified, “I wasn’t talking about Pablo. I wasn’t talking about VIEWS. I wanna ask y’all right now: Are y’all ready for this album?” Mr West pointed towards Drake, with Drake gesturing back.
But it wasn’t the first time we’ve been teased with the idea of synergy between the stars. Earlier this year, Drake revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe that he and Kanye were in talks about making a mixtape together.
In more Drizzy news, associate act 2 Chainz shared an Instagram post that looks to be a text conversation with Drake. The two look to be discussing a collaboration that’s coming out this Friday, titled Daniel Son the Necklace Don.
